My son took me to see the latest Wes Anderson film in the Chapter Arts Centre last night.
I found myself "he-he-ing" all the way through it.
Do you know how it feels when you recognize yourself.
And then feel an ache for that person.
And then wish you could whisper into that person's ear that it will turn out all right.
And then wonder why it was you had no friends.
Or why you
Or why you just
Thank goodness for old age....or middle age...or whenever it is in a person's life that they finally - finally accept themselves for who they are.
Heck - like themselves even!
When you finally do that - everything else is easier - and is a little less painful - and even joyful!
