Summer did not make much of an appearance this year - but Autumn is definitely making itself heard and felt! The leaves are changing colour, rain is blowing sideways and it's colder. I sorted through the Summer clothes, replaced them with Winter Woollies - and smiled when I rediscovered the beautiful collection of Merino knee high socks I bought last year (a box of 12 perfectly rolled and packaged) because I could not resist the truly delicious colours. I was Christmas gift shopping that day - but treated myself instead! Sooo indulgent.
The jewellery bench is looking very Autumnal too. The shop is filling up with warm copper tones and today I made this for my daughter's BF 18th. I was going to drop it into the cleaning jar (lemon juice and salt) after firing but could not bring myself to do it.
The reds are too beautiful. I am putting it on order at the shop though, just in case someone else would like to wear a folded Autumn leaf on their finger this season...
Please forgive the blurry focus - I still need to get to grips with the remote controls on this camera.
